This home overlooks a vineyard and has a wonderful view of Mt. Hood.  The problem was two-fold: overgrown Rhododendrons and Magnolias blocked the view from portions of the house, and there was no convenient way to get to the vineyard.  The overgrown shrubbery was removed, and was replaced by a bluestone patio.  Boulder steps were cut into the slope to allow access to the vineyard from the patio.  The slope has been replanted with low growing ornamental grasses, shrubs and perennials.  The view from the new patio is fantastic!
